@@cardboard9124 The purpose of the starliner is to become a commercial spaceflight. How exactly does this look user friendly? Besides, thats the job of the mission control to guide the space craft. Faulty hardware and software shouldn't even be a problem.

Also commercial spaceflight doesn't mean random people go to space with no training. A couple physical switches shouldn't be any problem at all, what do you think the cockpits of planes look like? Yes, it is the job of mission control to guide the spacecraft, however its important to keep plenty of manual controls for redundancy, what if they lose communication? What if autopilot fails?

For pilots, the cockpit of Starliner looks a lot more familiar. Truthfully, if I had to pick a spacecraft I would choose Starliner over Crew Dragon. Something about hyper-digitalized systems *in space* just gives me anxieties what with cosmic rays flipping bits and the many things that can go wrong. I would prefer greater control authority if required, and the system and flight controls of Starliner look to be much, much more comprehensive in scope.

Oh my God! Watch everybody as these poor Astronaut laboratory-volunteers, try to -- "Put Lipstick on this fat PIG! Every single Mechanical panel switch contact internally is a single point of failure for spark-arcing to cause volatile gas ignition! Also many toggle switches appear unprotected, as many lack side rails for impact activation prevention from weightless passenger free-floating heel-kicks, breakage or inadvertent activation. GUESS 5 BILLION DOLLARS CONTRACT COST WAS NOT ENOUGH! (BOEING PROVIDES THE "FULL" CONTROL PANEL SWITCH SIDE PROTECTION COVERAGE IN THE 6 BILLION DOLLAR PACKAGE MODEL!) Moreover, leaks from storage of volatile capsule propellants or ISS gas buildup or leakage into the atmosphere; seeping to voids reaching gas ignition arcs, is well documented and a known hazardous gas tank issue, that astronaut faced from the "dawn of space electronics" and a unacceptable risk at every mechanical-switch contact open or closure. These are Boeing and NASA ignored are gas ignition sparks. This is electronics 101, very basic and WELL known to occur with every switch-contact opening or closure; and is taking place somewhere behind BOEING'S flight control panels. This is tantamount to hundreds of BOMB triggers in the Astronaut's faces. In years past you have heard of the Airforce paying $500 for an aircraft toilet seat; so this Starshitter capsule is NASA's version but it cost the taxpayer nearly $5 BILLION DOLLARS! How Stupid NASA Inspectors or project managers, (probably hoping to work at Boeing in their next occupation) could swallow and eat the bullshit technobable from Boeing is traitorous to astronauts lives. That they allowed the "Green-Lighting" approvals of this "Archaic-Death-Trap", especially after knowing full-well about the failure mode analysis of the tragedy of Apollo One, is simply irresponsibility to the highest degree! SpaceX touch panels are brilliance and extreme SAFETY-FORWARD in spirit and execution fully in ALL aspects; from physical spark elimination to spark-free, high-power SCR or transistor or IC software controlled sparkless-solid-state relays. The SpaceX Dragon concepts deserve from the top-down, the international "RED engineering Design Award" If not from capabilities alone of operations-control remoting capabilities of wifi transfer of control to knee or perhaps wrist worn compute capability . BOEING RIPPED OFF THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER TO CHARGE NEARLY 5 BILLION DOLLARS FOR STARSH*TER! AND THE BOEING CEO IS THE BIGGEST THIEF WHO FROM A SALARY OF 15 MILLION DOLLARS LAST YEAR 2023, VOTES HIMSELF AN UNDESERVED IMO 45% INCREASE of gravy-train-like TAXPAYER DOLLARS THIS YEAR! AND ALL YOU NAIVE BOEING KISS ASS IDIOTS OR COMPANY PLANTS.OR RETIRED, BLIND NASA FLAG WAVING ENGINEERS, SMILE LIKE YOU ARE GETTING A GREAT DEAL FROM BOEING! THINK OF IT! EVEN OUR OLD ANTIQUATED VOYAGER ONE AND TWO ARE STILL better technical engineering then BOEING'S STARSH*Ter cobbled from a 60 year-old Gemini I CAPSULE PARTS SCAVENGE NASA needs to FIRE the Astronaut-managers who don't know Fu*k about engineering who spearhead this clown show and cancel the STARSH*tter contract IMMEDIATELY! ELSE THE USA CANT AFFORD EVER AGAIN. HOW NASA MANAGERS AND PM clowns FIREHOSE PISS OUR TAX DOLLARS INTO THE GUTTER. BUT MAYBE ONE DAY ILL LET YOU KNOW HOW I REALLY FEEL!

physical panels are far safer than digital because if you lose power you lose all control. There are no volatile gases other than oxygen (which is at a low pressure) so I have no idea why you are so scared of a fire. Physical panels have been proven time and time again, with apollo, soyuz, space shuttle, and other spacecraft all working just fine without touch screens

None of the internal plumbing seen in this tour has anything to do with the fuel system, especially if it is low pressure "duck" (duct) piping. The helium tank leaks are in the service module.
